I have to say your book is one of my most favorites:) I really loved it, I think children with disabilities are so amzaing. There are these two kids at my school with down syndrome I just love them both to death they are the only two most of the time that make me have a wonderful day. I feel like they are the ones that made me change my life around some because I used to never talk to handicaps but now I dont want to stop.

This is a beautiful story of an 11 year old. It is good that you’ve showed the feelings and thoughts of a child with disability. I like your style of writing a translation of some words from Tagalog to English. It captures better understanding of your readers. Keep it up!

Thank you for liking and giving your thoughts about it. Yes, the grammatical concerns are actually part of the book in order for readers to follow the thoughts and feelings of a special, 11-year old boy.

I am delighted as well that it made you smile. That inspires to write more in the future.

Thank you again!

This diary is lovely. I don't know if it's true...perhaps it is...but the narrator was real in my mind. The continued reference to his hair lip was priceless...so sad at first, but the joyful resolution left me smiling. GREAT job! My vote even with the small grammaticals...which in a way ADDED to the account!
