"social publishing" ist eine Initiative des entstehenden Medien- und Marketingunternehmen "Quantling Media" und ist für alle Teilnehmer kostenlos. So funktioniert's: Schreibe dich in die Gruppe "social publishing" ein. Nachdem deine Mitgliedschaft bestätigt wurde, kannst du in der Gruppe bis zu drei deiner Geschichten in Form eines Exposés vorstellen. Nach vier bis sechs Wochen wird auf Facebook eine interaktive Mitgliederversammlung ins Leben gerufen und gemeinsam darüber abgestimmt, welche Geschichte/Anthologie als "social publishing"-Projekt umgesetzt werden soll. Jedes Mitglied hat danach die Möglichkeit, als Helfer an dem auserwählten Projekt teilzunehmen, insofern es in mindestens einem der folgenden Schwerpunkte Erfahrungen hat: - Lektorat (Analyse und Verbesserung von Stilistik, Dramaturgie Handlungsaufbau und Spannungsbögen) - Korrektorat - Covergestaltung - Markting - Schriftsatz/Layout - Illustration Nachdem das Werk schließlich vollendet ist, wird es von Quantling-Media verlegt. Den Druck bezahlt natürlich der Verlag. Das Autoren- und Helferhonorar wird vor dem Projektstart gemeinsam mit dem Verlag ausgehandelt. Da dem Verlag neben den Druckkosten keine weiteren hohen Kosten entstehen, kann er den Großteil des Gewinnes an die Helfer und die Autoren weiter geben. Volle Transparenz: Einmal pro Woche werden in der Facebook-Gruppe "sozial publishig" ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/324261250967350/ ) die aktuellen Verkaufszahlen aller "social- publishing" Bücher bekannt gegeben. Parallel zum Verkauf wird die nächste interaktive Mitgliederversammlung eingeläutet und über ein neues Buchprojekt diskutiert. Wer Lust hat, an "social publishing" teilzunehmen, ist jeder Zeit willkommen. Anrgeungen, Kritik und Verbesserungsvorschläge sind erwünscht.

Wer ein Buch verkaufen möchte muss mehr Werbung betreiben, als es nur den Verwanden, Bekannten und Freunden zu erzählen. Für Autoren im Self Publishing Vertrieb eine Kosten- und Zeitintensive Angelegenheit. Warum diese Kosten und den Aufwand nicht teilen und so mehr Leser in Deutschland erreichen. Die Vorteile liegen auf der Hand: Wer in Emden ansässig ist wird nicht so schnell nach Görlitz kommen um dort eine Leserschaft zu erreichen.
