Nachdem im Jahre 1195 eine uns unbekannte Rasse die Erde angriff, fingen wir Menschen an aktiv ins Weltall auszuwandern. Es wurden Langstreckenflotten in entfernte Galaxien geschickt um neu Kolonien zu erschließen. Die unbekannte Rasse, welche von uns wegen ihren vier Armen nur Käfer genannt wird, verhinderte dies, so wurden dei Kolonien an Bord der Kreuzer gegründet. Heutige Jugendliche wie ich haben die Erde nie gesehen, wir wachsen in unseren Raumschiffen und der Künstlichen Atmosphäre auf und strerben hier ebenfalls. Oder man entscheidet sich so wie ich dazu zum Militär zu gehen. Ich bin jetzt achtzehn und beinahe fertig mit meiner Ausbildung, doch was wird mich da draußen erwarten, werde ich in meinem Jäger sterben und wenn ja was werde ich davor alles sehen?
