Speculative Fiction authors create worlds where anything can happen, where the reader leaves just a bit of themselves behind when they return to our world. Their stories are about places beyond reality, places that could have been or might have been, if the rules of the universe were altered slightly. They write stories that push at the boundaries of the imagination and make the reader think, by providing a new insight into humanity or even providing the reader with a new outlook on life. These authors have no proper genre to put their stories, because they are unique. Speculative Fiction authors live and write on the fringe.
