El texto siguiente fue escaneado de un Nuevo Testamento en Español que compré de una colección privada en León, Guanajuato, México, en 1986. Impresa en Londres en 1865 por Spottiswoode y Compañía, New Street Square, representa la condición de la Valera 1602 en la segunda mitad del siglo 19, siendo revisado mayormente en su ortografía. Todos los otros tipos de revisión son escasos en este texto. Hemos supuesto que el texto de este Nuevo Testamento es la revisión hecha por la Sociedad Bíblica Británica y Extranjera (SBBE) en 1858. Sin embargo, el Nuevo Testamento que escaneamos no fue impreso por la SBBE, y hasta ahora no han confirmado la identidad del texto que representa. La revisión SBBE 1858 era una de tres revisiones de Valera circulando en la era de su impresión (1865), y este texto es diverso que las otras dos revisiones (SPCC 1862, SBA 1865), por eso parece apropiado asumir que el texto en esta impresión es verdaderamente el NT Español de la SBBE 1858. Algunas revisiones ligeras nos confunden, sin embargo, siendo idénticas a las revisiones hechas por la SPCC en 1862 (e.g. Lucas 6.1: panes - sembrados), y nos hace suponer la posibilidad que había otra revisión que ambas usaron, de otra manera tendríamos que suponer que la SPCC 1862 usó en parte la revisión de la SBBE 1858. Lillie De Hegermann-Lindencrone (1844–1928), born Lillie Greenough in Cambridge, Massachusetts and later known as Lillie Moulton, was a trained singer, and latterly a diplomat's wife noted for publishing in 1913 a book of letters describing The Sunny Side of Diplomatic Life. As a child she developed the remarkable voice which later was to make her well known, and when only fifteen years of age her mother took her to London to study under Manuel Garcia. Two years later she became the wife of Charles Moulton, the son of a well-known American banker, who had been a resident in Paris since the days of Louis Philippe. As Madame Charles Moulton she became an appreciated guest at the court of Napoleon III. Upon his fall, in circa 1870, she returned to the United States, where Mr. Moulton died, and a few years afterward she married M. de Hegermann-Lindencrone, at that time Danish Minister to the United States, and in later periods his country's representative at Stockholm, Rome, Paris, Washington and Berlin.
