I'm happy to hear of your three Rescues, and I wish all of you a very merry Christmas (out of the cold..:).

I almost did not read this book because I am a dog lover and I rescue them. However the author did a good job on writing the heart about their plight. I am glad that I have rescued and helped with those animals that I have. I have three in my home now who are eagerly looking forward to another Christmas. I am glad they were not left out in the cold.

...for your very insightful comment. I agree. Most of the world has become so accustomed to turning a blind-eye, that every now and then, I think it's important to do a little 'in-your-face' type of thing.

The subject matter of this book is not only reflective of the way humans treats other species, but the way we treat one another. Good work!
