"Isabel, are you paying attention?" He asked. She nodded, but still stared out the window. He put the paper that he was reading from down. "Ok, tell me what I just said?" He said. "You said, A physical law or scientific law is, according to the Oxford English dictionary, a, and then you stopped." She said still looking out the window. "Yes and do you know why I stopped?" "Yes, and Thats why we're going over it." He said. Isabel rolled her eyes. "Ok, can I leave now? My half hour is up." She said. He looked at his wrist watch. "Go then." He said. She got out of her seat, headed for the door and was one her way.
She went downstairs to see her mother and little brother in the kitchen. "Hey sweetie, how was class?" She asked. Isabel sat on a stool under the kitchen island. "Really, that's what we're calling it now?" She sarcastically asked. Her mother had a half smile as she tilted her head to the side. "Mom, why can't I go to regular school you know like Jonny?" She asked, and as soon as she did, her mother almost dropped the bowl she was carrying. "Regular school?" She asked.
"Yeah, like Jonny." she said. Her mother was speachless for a moment.
"Well?" Isabel wanted to know. Badly. "Hun', your gonna have to take that up with your father." She said placing the bowls on the tabel. Isabel looked at her blonde haired brother who just shrugged. Her mother's face went white when she asked her the question It made Isabel wonder.

She opened her door and ease dropped on they're convert. I don't get "It James, why can't she just go to highschool like a regular teenage girl?" Her mother shouted. "Because Sage, me and you both know she's smarter than any of those kids in that entire school." He shouted back. "I can't believe this, you are so Naive, you think that one little experience is gonna scar her for life? James, home schooling her won't do any good, that's half her life." Her mother had a point. "Sage, what is the point of letting her go to school?" He asked her. "So she can Have normal teenage life." She said. Everything was silent for a while. Isabel walked toward the stair case, standing at the top. she couldn't belive Jonny couldn't hear this bickering. Isabel descided to go down three more steps. Then five then she went on ahead to the last seven steps. Her parents were separated, Mom in the kitchen, Dad in the living room. "Mom, dad, everything okay down here?" she asked.
