Almost a year now since I came here to BookRix and I still hadn't read any of your work. I'm glad this was the first! If you could somehow condense this down without losing any of its inherent magic it would make a great back cover story for your books :) I don't read(or write) as much poetry as I did when I was younger but an appreciation is unnecessary whendealing with such passion. Well done and kudos for allowing us this inner glimpse. RMH

Awsome moving talented creative

Dust Motes and Polar by Rain are wondrous poems. Dust Motes has an Ecclesiastes feel, wrapped in a touch of lament.

Polar by Rain creates visions of northern lights.

Overall, the entire collection of poems are an amazing collection of emotion framed by jeweled words.

I've begun to read this collection...
Your range of writing skill is vast, Stevie. I've only gotten several pages in; several poems, and I'm a bit flabbergasted at your ability to pull the most wonderful word or phrase out of thin air to evoke mood and sentiment.
"My mask is hardening,
melting together with bone...."
Wow.

I will finish with great anticipation and return to comment again...with my jaw hanging open, no doubt.

Mary - I'm so glad you liked it. I had debated putting it up, since it isn't a fresh work and it is rather dark, but I know many people have felt similarly.
