So now the public is encouraged by some to accept teachers having access to
guns with the expectation that teachers could stop an armed, crazed intruder
and save some lives. Is this the solution to the problem? I think not. Perhaps
an armed teacher could save some, after he realizes the school is under seige,
gets to the secured cabinet where the gun is stored, opens the cabinet, gets

and save some lives. Is this the solution to the problem? I think not. Perhaps
an armed teacher could save some, after he realizes the school is under seige,
gets to the secured cabinet where the gun is stored, opens the cabinet, gets
the kids into the hiding place and positions him or her self to protect all
mentioned. It is all a substitute for real solutions. The last thing we need
in this conversation is a President with limited common sense and cowboy
instincts!
