I am not advocating for one position or another on tariffs, except to say,
that according to the Tax Foundation, in summarizing the article headline, the
tariffs will negate 20% of the recent tax reform benefits. In a rational and
stable set of economic policies it does not seem like good policy to give with
one hand and take away with another. This is the uncertainty that drives
business leaders crazy.

Ein guter Tipp, den mir mein Fahrlehrer gegeben hat, als ich die Autoprüfung gemacht habe: Man muss im Straßenverkehr immer mit der Dummheit der Anderen rechnen. Also aufgepasst und vorausschauend fahren.
