I have been thinking of putting together a book of poetry about my garden as well. I love the images you evoke here, with the incomparable beauty of Nature. So much like our lives - the roses and trees are our friends - we grow old togehter. It's a curious mixture of happiness and sadness all at once. I am able to feel your meloncholy through your work.
