Not something I enjoyed reading as I look for colourful characters and good dialogue.

The basic story was good, but you have tense errors now and then.

I liked the happy end.

This would be much better if you wrote it as a novelette or short story, with lots more dialogue.

Try it. First person, past perfect.

This is a cute story of an arranged marriage. It is somewhat like a hate-love relationship. Sometimes we’ll never know the importance of a person unless he is gone. This is a nice way of sharing something about your culture in marriage. I enjoyed reading it.
