thank you. my spelling and grammar suck to say the least. i dont know if i will finish it though if i do it will just be to help me but i will post whatever i do add to it. writing has helped me sleep. when its all said and done i might have a friend read it and fix the problems. thank you for the corrections though it does sound better.

Hey, that's a good start to your first story. My first novel was actually about war in the Middle East.

The only problem is that you've got grammar and word issues. To fix that, you can go back and read your story again, and find places where periods and commas should be added to cut off the run-on sentences.

Here's an example from the start of your story that I fixed: "As the plane landed, I gripped my bible tightly in my left hand. My right hand rested on the pistol grip of my M-4. My rucksack sat by my feet. The plane slowed to a stop."

Other than that, continue your story and I will glady read it.
