INTRODUCTION

A change of hearts is a prerogative of an individual. It is by an individual and for the individual.


Jim and I belonged to two vibrantly diverse cultures and faith. It was our conscious decision to accept the new situation of life with full determination and respect for each other’s feelings and understanding. We were very sure that our firm faith in each other would take us through the rest of our life.
However, for my parents it was not the same. For them to accept our marriage alliance amounted to compromising the tradition, their principle and conviction. I did not want that to happen. I did not want that either my parents or we should live a life with guilt or remorse feelings. I wanted my parents to come with terms with the new changed situation by themselves. I wanted things to happen gracefully. I also knew this will take time. I had patience and so also Jim. We decided to wait.

Your story was written with many American mistakes. You, being a foreign author, are excused for this type of venue. Several occurances of leaving out the words 'is,a,s's, and r' on pages: 8,9,14,15,20 and others, stood out as errors. There is a program that can correct these mistakes called "White Smoke.com./joeparente

Thank you very much for your valuable suggestion. I will certainly take care. We follow British English. So there are differences in spelling such as Colour or tyre. In American English it is Color and Tire.In fact The Mirosoft Word what we normally use makes corection... mehr anzeigen

There is a smooth flow in which the story is told. Well written.

Very touching story! Emotions, values and principles of the main character are captured very well.I liked the line from the story - "Marriages are made in Heaven. You meet your life partner according to Karma made in your previous life."

An entertaining piece!

I like the story but I think you should do more show don't tell. Most of the times you are just stating facts. There are a couple grammatical errors but the plot is really unique. I liked reading it! Thank you.
