My recollection is that one of the things that led to the agreement with Iran
which delayed their development of nuclear weapons was our hacking of their
production systems. It would seem that if we do have such cyber tools, perhaps
some limited use of them against Russia in retaliation for hacking our
elections might be warranted. There is no doubt that Russia is on an
aggressive expansion drive, there does need to be a response by us and our
allies, assuming we have any left. In the meantime, we do need to stop the
drive to return us to the 1950's but instead focus on modernizing our defenses
as well as our own production systems. This should be the priority, not
production of more nuclear weapons.

As a sixty-five year-old lifelong liberal Democrat, I would urge Joe Biden to
give up any thoughts of becoming president. He's too damn old, and I, for one,
will never forgive him for turning his back on Anita Hill. It is partly thanks
to Biden that we've been stuck with Clarence Thomas on the Supreme Court.
