I'm one of the moderators in the short story contest where you submitted your book, "The Dark Side." In the initial post about the contest, there's nothing about word count, but in a later post, "Questions," someone asks about that and Anthony explains that the story should be limited to 2,500 words, give or take a hundred, tops. Yours is 7,791, which, unfortunately, disqualifies it for inclusion in the contest. Do you have a shorter work you could submit instead? Your writing is wonderful and shows great imagination, so it would be a shame if we didn't have something of your included in this.

I hope you can resubmit one of your works - sorry we didn't catch this sooner. Thanks for your understanding, and good luck in the contest. ')
