I am a mother of two beautiful baby girls.

When we arrived at the hospital I let them know she hadn't been eating. I did give them an entire time line of course. I also pointed out that she wasn't breathing.

After realizing this the receptionist buzzed us back. We were rush to room 2. I placed my baby on the bed as instructed. Not kidding there were 10 Dr.s in the room. All trying to get their turn with my baby.

Her temp was at a deadly 92 degrees Fahrenheit. She wasn't breathing right so she was intubated and incubated. They ran many tests. Her carbon levels were deadly high. This test was ran by cutting her foot for blood. It was taken every five minutes.

An exray was ran. That is when they had an idea that it may have something to do with her heart. It took them five hours to stabilise her body enough for travel. We were medivaced to Anchorage . Where I learned her condition. Where most people have three aortic valves on the top of their hearts she has only two. One of those two valves closed up because my blood ran it's course. This caused her problems. Then on top of that she has a hole at the bottom of her heart. Her conditions are/we're called ventricular septum defect (hole of her heart between the bottom two chamebers) and aortic corrictation (Where her aortic valve shrank.

From Anchorage she was medivaced to Seattle. Where she had her surgery at 14 days old. They fixed the aortic corrictation but not the VSD. That's another surgery.
