Ein erster abendfüllender Fall für Sam Burglar, ein ziemlich hartgekochter Privatdetektiv aus dem New York um 2009. Noch ist er guter Dinge, doch dunkle Wolken in Gestalt einer seiner Ex zeigen sich bereits am weltstädtischen Himmel. An ihrem ersten Abend besuchen sie eine Kunst-Vernissage, um ihren zukünftigen 'Gegner' besser kennenzulernen. Sie treffen dabei auf drei der 'bösen Jungs' und auf eine nette Galerieleiterin. Von ihr wird er zur Begleitung eines Transportes mit Kunsthandwerk der Irokesen überredet. Unterwegs lernt er so einiges über die Geschichte der Mohawk und Irokesen bis in die aktuelle Gegenwart. In Toronto bereiten sie sich nun auf den Grenzübertritt in die USA vor. Von der Geschichte sind cirka zwei Drittel fertig, doch der Autor hat bereits eine unklare Vorstellung, wie sie ausgehen soll. Dennoch behält er sich - zur Anpassung an späterer Geschehnisse - Änderungen im bisherigen Text vor. Lassen wir uns also weiter überraschen... * 'Ein hartgekochtes preivät Ey' ist die Verballhornung des englischen 'Hardboiled Private Eye (oder PI)' (hartgekochter Privatdetektiv). Dieses Buch ist in Arbeit und mein - im Augenblick - einziges aktives Projekt. Ich werde unregelmässig weitere Abschnitte veröffentlichen (und dies über die üblichen Wege bekannt geben). Dabei kann es vorkommen, dass ältere Kapitel verschwinden, verlegt oder komplett überarbeitet werden, ebenso wie der Titel oder das Titelbild...
