The time of dreaming is the gift of a second life. If we neglect this part of our inner selves it will become chaotic and aggressive. In that case the inner world becomes like everything that is being neglected – not beautiful at all. Most people believe that they are helplessly exposed to the world of dreams and that they can only sit and watch. That's not true. We can do a lot and if we do we will be richly rewarded. What can we do? We can observe our dreams and learn from them. What do they want to tell us? And do we want to understand what they are telling us? Just as the dreams are connected with the everyday life, the daily life is connected with the dreams. What does that mean? In our dreams our souls get visible and alive in their own self made worlds; with all their powers, with their conflicts and their promises. These forces affect the everyday life. Not only our mood but also our destiny. Do we want to be helplessly exposed to these forces? Can we escape them? Wherever one may go these mental powers will always follow. It is better to do the work that our psyche has given us. We mature and grow while doing that and plus the world around us (and in us) gets brighter and more beautiful. [mehr]

Who am I? My relationship with myself answered that question. Self awareness on an intimate level helped me find unconditional love. I had to first develop a closer relationship with myself. This personal experience helped me to stop judging and criticizing myself, therefore I stopped doing it to others. My relationships began to improve with others, even if I did not like the person. I realized that my personal relationship with myself affected others and created my reality. Am I gentle, ashamed, or merciful towards myself, am I overly critical of myself, or do I hide my true feelings from myself? I used to be unconscious of how I really felt about myself. I had to accept everything about me, positive and negative, even my past mistakes, love all of me even when I was broke. I believe a good relationship with ourselves is equivalent to a personal relationship with God, the higher self, and the universe within. This allowed me to trust myself. A healthy relationship with ourselves can only be possible through self-reflection, looking inwards into our darkness. Unconditional love changed my perception of myself, and that everyone matters regardless of my personal feelings. We are who we are. This way we can love others as they are, this does not mean we have to like them. My relationship with my wife was still not perfect, I don't believe that there is such a situation, I am still learning and growing. I believe that external relationships are a direct reflection of who we are internally. Intimacy which is (into me I seek). Eileen McHugh - a life remade - is a novel about a sculptor whose creative life ended in the 1970s. She left no work, but now an archive of her notes and sketches has come into the possession of Mary Reynolds, who is determined to resurrect the artist's life and reconstruct her work. She contacts people who knew Eileen as a child and as a student in London. She follows the artist on a hippie trip to Thailand. Via these partial memories, she recreates the artist and her work. Let us imagine an artist who struggled to complete anything, left near-unintelligible notes and was probably incompetent in the use of materials. This was an artist who found any focus hard to maintain, who seemed to dabble in multiple forms and spread apparently undisciplined attention so thinly across a multitude of whim-driven activities that hardly any project came to fruition. Picture a corpus of surviving works that only just creeps into double figures, some of which are dubiously attributed, while others may have been reworked by other hands. And imagine a signature work so incompetently produced it is literally disintegrating whilst, in that same room on a facing wall, there exists another work, largely unknown, by a different artist, who has remained almost anonymous, despite producing something that is arguably as beautiful and technically superior to its neighbour. If asked to assess, how might contemporary viewers, coming to this body of work for the first time, judge its worth or its creator’s achievement? And how might we judge another artist who has left just one work, which exists only in reproduction as a contemporary photograph, taken in the few moments the work existed? But this artist, we now discover, left a variety of notes, descriptions and indications of materials to be used that are sufficient to reconstruct lost works. Is it not our duty to remake this life’s work, to recreate this legacy that might enrich lives, change perceptions and reinterpret experience? This artist is called Eileen McHugh. The previous, unfocused incompetent was called Leonardo da Vinci. But where might I begin to remake the life and work of an artist like Eileen? We have no works, no studies or even failed projects awaiting reassembly. We know little of her undocumented life, whose destination remained unknown even to her own mother. But we all leave our own marks on time. Identifying them is the challenge, and then describing them becomes possible. We tend to realize many things when we look back but not when we are facing it. This simple truth has haunted ever since I could remember. Why is it that we don’t realize present? Why do we miss when we loose? Our brain is a tiny creature fogged and clogged to think straight when presented with a situation. But somehow it gets mighty when we do realize. It is like a parent, guiding us in the right path by first allowing us to commit mistakes and then realize. Everyone fails in life in a multiple things but it doesn’t matter as failing helps you to sharpen your brain like the fine cut of priceless diamond. During the board exams my heart beat so hard, it threatened to stop and fear as a big lump of ice clogged in my every nerve. But still here I am as a living breathing being. What then was my greatest fear means little to me now. I laugh at myself when I think about my behavior back then. Certain things we learn at a very tender age not really understanding the ocean of knowledge behind it. One such thing that never fails to fascinate me is ‘Experience is the best teacher.’ But I found out this simple truth through messy path. Dorian White represents a person whose only goal is to do just that. There are no boundaries, except justice, he will not cross. This was initially seen in his protection of docs without borders where he made sure certain warlords would never bother them again. Or any other organization for that fact. An underlying truth Dorian follows is the idea one should always play by the rules until the otherside does not. Then you play at their level only a lot better. Yet you never stoop to their level. He uses the idea perception is reality by making all he does openly is nothing but an illusion of what is really being done. In this book he does show others exactly how far the illusion he uses goes. Even death can be used as an illusion to get people to react the way they really need to. Yet, in order to make the effect better, there are those who will be killed but done so because there was no other choice which could be pursued. Each situation is based soley on that situation.
