In this short story Camille is furious that a convicted rapist and murderer got out of prion and on probabtion with a mere twelve years under his belt. This man is named Hector Marcus. He moved to the US from Nigeria and raped twelve women and killed one. He got a judge who believed women were property and was given a sentence of thirty years. Obviously that didn't work out. Camille takes his fate into her own hands, This has foul language and may disturb some readers. [mehr]

Jay Williams (May 31, 1914 – July 12, 1978) was an American author born in Buffalo, New York, the son of Max and Lillian Jacobson. He cited the experience of growing up as the son of a vaudeville show producer as leading him to pursue his acting career as early as college. Between 1931 and 1934 he attended the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University where he took part in amateur theatrical productions. Out of school and out of work during the end of the Depression, he worked as a comedian on the upstate New York Borscht Belt circuit. From 1936 until 1941, Jay Williams worked as a press agent for Dwight Deere Winman, Jed Harris and the Hollywood Theatre Alliance. And even though he played a feature role in the Cannes prize winning film, Little Fugitive produced in 1953, he turned his attention to writing as a full-time career after his discharge from the Army in 1945. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart. While serving in the Army he published his first book, The Stolen Oracle, in 1943. [mehr]

Willenhall is a medium sized town in the Black Country area of the West Midlands of England, with a population of approximately 40,000. It is situated between Wolverhampton and Walsall, historically in the county of Staffordshire. It lies upon the River Tame. The urban district of Willenhall (established by the Local Government Act 1894) was partitioned in 1966 between the county boroughs of Walsall and Wolverhampton (since 1974 the metropolitan boroughs of Walsall and Wolverhampton). The northern border of Willenhall has always been adjoining green belt land, although Willenhall has expanded so much in the last 100 years that its northern border has been moved by about two miles. This is mostly due to housing developments in the Short Heath and New Invention areas. The town is historically famous for the manufacture of locks and keys. As early as 1770 Willenhall contained 148 skilled locksmiths and its coat of arms reflects the importance of this industry to its growth.[1] Its motto is "Salus Populi Suprema Lex" - The welfare of the people is the highest law. Logan Marshall (born 1884), was the pen name of Logan Howard-Smith of Germantown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Howard-Smith was the son of Robert Spurrier and Elizabeth (McKinney) Howard-Smith.[1] The father was an executive of Link-Belt.[2] Howard-Smith attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated in 1905.[3] Upon graduation he took a position as assistant editor at The John C. Winston Co.,[4] a publishing firm. Winston was later acquired by Henry Holt and became part of Holt, Rinehart & Winston. At Winston, Howard-Smith both edited and wrote a large number of books, mainly under the pen name Logan Marshall. These were often quickly produced and designed to satisfy public curiosity concerning a current event. As a result, Howard-Smith has been characterized as a "hack",[5] and his language criticized as "strained, excessive, or melodramatic."[6] Howard-Smith's (as Logan Marshall) The Sinking of the Titanic, however, achieved a great deal of fame as a result of being quickly at the market, and continues to be cited in bibliographies about the incident.
