Religion ist eine Suche nach Gott. Das Evangelium dagegen ist die frohe Botschaft, dass Jesus auf der Suche nach uns Menschen ist. Die beste Religion betont die Notwendigkeit einer äußeren Umgestaltung. Das Evangelium jedoch beginnt mit einer inneren Umgestaltung. Genau das möchte Gott dir schenken. Einer der Gründe war, dass diese Religion, die ursprünglich dazu bestimmt war, den Menschen zu dienen, insbesondere den Kleinen und Armen, dass sie im vierten Jahrhundert unter Kaiser Konstantin an die Macht kam. So wurde aus einer dienenden eine herrschende Religion, aus einer armen eine reiche, aus einer barmherzigen eine hartherzige, aus einer pazifistischen eine militaristische, aus einer demütigen eine hochmütige, aus einer wahrhaftigen eine heuchlerische Religion.
