Having some years ago, during a pilgrimage to the Holy City of Jerusalem, gained admission to the courts of the ancient Temple of the Knights Templars, which still exists on Mount Moriah in a perfect state of preservation as a Mussulman Mosque, and having visited many of the ruined fortresses and castles of the ancient order of the Temple, whose shattered walls are still to be seen at intervals in Palestine and in Syria, from Gaza to Antioch, and from the mountains of the Dead Sea to the shores of the Mediterranean, I naturally became greatly interested in the history of the order, and in the numerous remains and memorials of the Knights Templars still to be met with in various stages of decay and ruin in almost every part of Europe. The recent restoration of the Temple Church at London, the most beautiful and the best preserved of all the ancient ecclesiastical edifices of the western provinces of the Temple, first suggested to me the idea of writing a short historical account of the varied fortunes of that great religious and military fraternity of knights and monks by whom it was erected, and of their dark and terrible end. Maurice has brought the Holy Lance to Saint Peter. George, who was an officer in Diocletian’s army, is helping the Christians to defend themselves against the Roman Empire. The Christians are soon confronted with a much more powerful enemy. His name is King Bloodstone. He abducts Christian and the Morning Star. Mauritius and the monks of Mount Mary, Mount Jesus and the Mountain of the Angels accompany them into the underworld to rescue Christian. With the help of the Holy Lance of Christ they defeat the Reptilian army of Sobek. They mange to rescue the Morning Star from the Castle of Queen Jezebel. The joy is great when the Company of the Morning Star returns to Saint Peter on Christmas Eve. King Bloodstone sends the Dark Knight to Saint Peter when the Christian communities are preparing for the feast of Mary Light Mass. The time of pilgrimages arrives with the beginning of the spring season. A dragon appears abducting some orphans and Farmer Jack. The Christians are visiting the shrine of Mary to celebrate annunciation when the dragon attacks the Queen of Heaven. George kills the dragon with the Holy Lance of Christ. The orphans are released from the underworld together with Farmer Jack. George organizes a football tournament. Young and old, men, women and children are allowed to participate. Saint Peter, whose population is mainly orphans and elderly people, does not stand a chance against Saint Andrew. George develops a technique beating the stronger teams of the tournament. Saint Peter makes it to the final where they get beaten by the black widows of Saint John. [mehr]

A half-vampire hybrid warrior named Simone is humanity’s last chance against vampires and demons from the underworld who is led by their leader, the vampire Kristain, her father. Fought over at her birth by angels and demons of the Underworld, Simone Akonjo, a half vampire-human was rescued at birth by a rogue Shaolin Monk who killed his own master to protect the infant from being destroyed in a vampire raid. Set in 1850’s Paris, France, and present-day Seattle, Simone is raised by her adopted father Arkamun, a former Monk preparing her to battle ancient vampires he fought for years, including her father, Kristian. Kristian, a painter in the impressionist style like Monet, when on the evening of showcasing his life’s work is laughed at by aristocrats he invited including his beloved fiance’s father. He walks the streets of Paris and is bitten by the original vampire Andras and seeks to get revenge on those who wronged him. While killing his fiance’s father, he then turns on her who is pregnant with his child. After killing the Shaolin Monk Arkamun raises the baby as his own with the help of others in a warrior society until he starts to realize that Simone is different than other girls. Secluded from Parisian society for fear of the unknown, Arkamun keeps Simone’s heritage a secret from her until Kristian shows up to take his daughter. As Arkamun ages Simone ages very slowly and Arkamun knows that Simone must choose the path that was foretold for her. Simone is given the biblical “Spear of Michael” weapon by Arc Angels and is chosen to lead an apocalyptic war against Kristian and his clan and demons for the sake of humanity along with the charismatic anti-hero Malic Turner, whose on a killing spree against vampires for killing his whole family, rogue Shaolin Monks and a courageous priest in this dark and exotic tale.
