Why? It is nature’s trap; a scam people live out, unaware. It breeds all criminality, depravity; kills sanity. The eBook busts the scam; paves way for alternative intentionality.
Evolution may be a stupid engineering but it put in place a happy mechanism for all living beings, with entrenched processes. Human ingenuity forced evolution to accept retirement. Then, it turned the mechanism of happiness; processes of reward and success into scams; brutally uploading man-made Intentionality of criminality, depravity over nature’s innocuous intelligence. Happiness stands hijacked.
The innate design of nature, which evolved the idea and cognition of happiness in organisms, seeded the lateral and concomitant emotion of competitiveness. This however happened, much before humans happened on Earth. Competitiveness to optimize happiness, and in turn optimize survival-successes, through the chemical expressions of reward and punishment worked reasonably well in animal world and therefore it continued into human system. Competitiveness is not a criminal intent or idea. The innocuous cognition of competitiveness could be turned into a theme of criminality and depravity only by extraordinary human intelligence of faking and fudging. Happiness got hijacked as humans evolved this novel intelligence to fake, fudge, fabricate, fictionalize, and defraud intentionality. Languages happened and they became big tools to deception and depravity. We need to accept that Happiness has to be our internal landscape and milieu; it is in essence, an internal body-brain process of optimizing knowledge and awareness of self, vis-à-vis the external milieus. This in truest sense has always been hailed as the centrality of intentionality of all religions and spiritualism. Scams however hit them the worst. Externalizing Happiness; aligning happiness with attainments and possessions of entities in external milieus, criminalizes and depraves happiness. It has somehow become the nature’s trap; humanity has not only become slaves to but also used it to scam others and self. Nature wants us to be happy organisms and for that it installed chemically mediated and subconsciously orchestrated intentionality of reward and pleasurable successes. It instituted the habit-forming chemical plexus to remain aligned to rewarding and happy ways, which in turn required competitiveness. This innate intelligence has now been hijacked by human intelligence and as this competitiveness has become unmanageable in extremely over-populated and monstrously unequal society-culture-polity-economy; success and reward feelings have to be in connivance of depravity, cruelty, criminality and deception to attain probability. Society, cultures, polity, faith systems, economy, commerce, relationships, et al, have all become hugely corrupted, criminalized and unashamedly fake and deceptive. Everyone seems to have fallen into this trap and we all are living out a scam of reality. Human world cannot have benchmarks of animals. Humans definitively need an alternative and novel reward-regime to qualify as humans. They need compassion, fraternity, equitability, knowledge, amicability as benchmarks; instead of reward, pleasure and successes. This scam needs to be weeded out of human world. Collective spaces are beyond redemption. However, an individual sure can de-scam his or her Consciousness to embark on the journey of true and real happiness. This can happen when a person is truly aware and knowledgeable of not only realities but also the mechanism and processes of realities. The usual subconscious and perceptional life-living cannot help one come out of the scam of happiness and other perceptions. This is what this eBook humbly seeks. Harinath Paul (Hari) and Sam Krishna Roy (Sam) are two friends who joined Indian Railways at Kharagpur as a 5-years apprentice mechanical in January 1964.They became very closed and best friend each other. During this training period, Hari loved Maria (Anjali) an anglo-Indian girl whose father was Goerge Gomes, General Foreman of boiler shop in Kharagpur railway workshops,an original Britisher and mother(Agatha) an Indian Hindu Bengali woman.Agatha was residing in his outhouse as a full time domestic help before her marriage with George. After a long ups and down Hari and Anjali became a married couple where Sam played a leading role (both negetive and positive).
Sam became alone after demise of her wife at the age of about 40. Within a few years of his loneliness a terrorist couple took shelter in Sam's house as a tenant showing him the fake Government identity proof of Indian citizenship. Later both were arrested by the Kashmiri police with the help of Calcutta police. Actually, the young man, Md. Ibrahim introduced himself as Mohan Kumar (26-27) who was a Pakistani terrorist and married a Hindu Bengali girl introduced as Bina Kumar(23-24). They found no other alternate but to leave their only child of six months old under custody of Sam, the land lord who brought up her as his grand-daughter. Later she became a most efficient police offcer of Indian Police Service who also became terror to the terrorists of Jammu and Kashmir. She was awarded by Prsident of India for her gallantary service. But she was not happy and her eyes were searching her father and mother amongst the terrorist, live or dead in jail or out side the jail. Ultimately she found both her parents, but she accepted only her mother and left Jammu nd Kashmir on transfer with her grandpa and mother to Calcutta.How she got her parents was a story of thrill and wonderful with tears of emotion.
Anjali's history teacher of her school at Kharagpur railway township, Moinuddin proposed to marry her when she was in class twelve(10+2) as his second wife though he was having a wife live with a daughter. This could not materialise through a series of drama and climax. She became fade up with the jobs in various British and Indian private companies where she had to serve as confidential assistant to Managing Director or Director. Everything was good, but that was with sexual abuses in different forms. Otherwise there was no chance to continue the job. Finally she left the job and joined as a lecturer in a reputed college and started to stay at Calcutta 116 km away from her house at Kharagpur. Being a christian girl, she found easily accomodation in Young Women Christian Association(YWCA) in Calcutta where she came in contact with social service, particularly for the destitutes and older women who were left by their British husbands after British rules ended in 15th August 1947 in India.
Hasina, wife of Moinuddin started a school in their quarter at Kharagpur for the poor girls and illiterate women, particularly of Muslim community overcoming a huge obstacles posed by the Maulovis and Immams. Hasina initially, did not get support from her husband Moinuddin due to the life threatening from those Maulovis and Imamas. Fortunately, a Muslim police officer of Kharagpur police station helped Hasina in all respects to open her primary school. She believed that due to illiteracy and poverty, women of Muslim community become the prey of the patriarchal torture and deprivation socially and economically by them if those women do not obey the fatawah of Imam or Maulovi.
During the Indo-Pak war in 1965, a few maulovis were arrested and punished for the anti-Indian activities. These people were also against Hasina and they once kidnapped and assaulted physically her and her daughter when her husband Moinuddin went to his native village for her younger sister's marriage for a few days. There he found another set-back from his elder sister who was forcibly given Talak(divorce) by her husband on flimsy ground and came back with her two kids. Moinuddin then realised the bad result of poligamy which he himself once wanted to marry Anjai as second wife. He condemned this system of poligamy in Muslim community.
Hasina took initiative to make a non-violent movement with the help of Anjali, Hari and Sam and organised in a district, state and countrwide non-violent movement against all fundamentalists and orthodox Muslims who were doing all anti-Islamic activities, particularly torture on women of Muslim community. Later this fundamentalists and orthodox Muslims were known as Taliban, LeT and other terrorists groups indulging in killing innocent people in the name of Islam.
Hsina and her associates established All India Depressed and Deprived Women Organisation(AIDDWO) and Bilkis, an opressed and tortured Muslim woman became President of AIDDWO. Non-violent movement was spreding like fire throughout world, particularly terror-stricken countries like USA, India, UK, Afghanistan, Pakistan and others.
Military offensive started by Pakistan government against terrorists in Pakistan with the cvilian's support like APDDWO(All Pakistan Dipressed and Deprived Women Organisation), a sistern organisation of AIDDWO. This contued upto 2013 when terrorists were defeated and they surrendered under the two tongue operation by military offensive and civil non-violent movement enmass through out the terror stricken countries including USA, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, UK and others. Huge terrorists were killed with lesser number of army. Terrorists groups had to accept the Treaty of Peace forever. Thus Peace was regained in the world. [mehr]

SYNOPSIS
Please keep in mind this emotion charged gay novel is set in the 1960s and 70s, the Vietnam War/ Harvey Milk years, when being gay was more dangerous than it is today.
Following graduation from Santa Barbara High School with the class of ‘65, Danny Armaugh and Rob Olsen discover their lifelong friendship has escalated to something far more than brotherly love. Fear of rejection prevents them from confessing their true feeling s for one another. At first, Danny suppressed his own homosexuality, while Rob masked his sexual preference in the guise of a macho ladies’ man.
Following Danny's disturbing self discovery, Rob takes off for his summer job at Yosemite. Stuck at home and believing Rob is straight, Danny decides to substitute nightly fantasies for the real thing. Months later, Rob confesses his own love for Danny.
During the joyful two year affair that follows, Danny develops his extraordinary musical talents.
After graduating from Santa Barbara Junior College, at the the height of the Vietnam war, Rob is drafted, and Danny goes on to UC Berkeley. While on Christmas leave in San Francisco, Rob and Danny are joined in a riotous wedding ceremony.
A year after Rob is shipped out to Vietnam, Danny has a horrific nightmare in which he finds Rob's body on the battlefield. Actually Rob is not killed, but wounded in action. Ironically, the Pentagon, attempting to boost public acceptance of their unpopular little war, turns the gay marine into a national hero. In Washington, the president presents him with the Medal of Honor, and back in Santa Barbara there is a triumphant home coming parade.
Though temporarily paralyzed, the hero manages to be sexually active, and the two young men enjoy a passionate love life.
Still in a wheelchair, the ex-marine accompanies Danny back to UC Berkeley to study psychology--with a specialty in homosexual trauma. Urged by Rob, his biggest fan, talented singer-composer Armaugh turns in a triumphant student performance, and is discovered by former child-actor-turned-talent-agent, Paul Connor.
Following a successful audition and contract signing at an important record company in Los Angeles, Paul Connor treats his new protégé and Rob Olsen to dinner. There, the duo meet Connor's lover, the outwardly charming Ralph Noon, an important TV actor. While assisting wheelchair bound Olsen to the men's room. Noon reveals his paranoid tendencies. Suspicious of Danny and Paul Connor's new business relationship, he advises Rob to warn Danny there'll be trouble if he tries to steal Paul from him.
The agent successfully steers Danny into an international career. Awed by the power of his uplifting message, the nation takes him to its heart and makes him a modern folk hero
During a world tour, Danny and his entourage stop in apartheid dominated South Africa. The whites refuse to sell tickets to the blacks and the singer decides to perform only for the native tribes. The Armaugh troupe puts on a rousing show for thousands of natives in a natural amphitheater outside Johannesburg. The Armaugh group is hailed as heroes by the “nonwhites” and condemned by the rejected “whites” who expel Danny and his troop from their country with the warning never to return.
Following a recording session, Paul confesses he's afraid of Ralph Noon, who has threatened to kill him if he strays. Danny invites the agent to move in with them for safety
While Danny is in a recording session. Paul arrives to at Danny and Rob's home, and in a jealous rage Ralph Noon shoots Paul. Noon is arrested for attempted murder while Dan and Rob rush to the hospital. The surgeon holds out little hope for Paul's survival. While awaiting the outcome, country singer, Arnie Armor, another of Paul's clients, joins them.
After the trio spends an all night vigil they are told the agent is out of danger.
Months later, Ralph Noon is brought to trial. With Rob, Danny, a recovering Paul Connor, and Noon family members witnesses, the TV actor is convicted and locked away in a mental facility.
Romance blooms between the country singer, Armor, and his agent, though, like much of Danny's public, Paul harbors some romantic feelings for Danny
As Paul recovers, Danny decides to join Paul and Rob in their fight for gay rights. When he comes out publicly on TV’s MEET THE PRESS, many of Danny's fans turn against him. Undaunted, he joins the leadership of the gay rights movement, and helps pave the way for important legislation.
Danny, Rob and Paul travel the country advocating equality for gays. Against everyone's advice Danny elects to speak at a major labor union convention in Dallas. On the steps of the convention center he's met by Bobby Joe Stark, a leader of the bible belt bigots. In an informal debate covered by TV news, Danny makes a fool of the Baptist minister.
Inside the Dallas convention hall, the union members refuse to listen to Danny’s pleas for equality, and boo him off the stage. During the uproar, a shot rings out. Danny is wounded by a young closeted gay who's confused love with hate. The wound is minor and psychologist Rob convinces the would be assassin all is not as grim as it seems.
Persevering, the Armaugh trio continue working with the country's gay rights leaders. The novel draws to a joyous close with a celebration of the California legislature’s passage of the “Consenting Adults” Bill AB489, and it is signed into law by California’s then Governor Jerry Brown. There is a group wedding ceremony in which Rob and Danny renew their vows and along with others, Paul Connor and Arnie Armors' union is also blessed.
NOTE: Considerable research went into the writing, and I believe it is historically and psychologically correct. There are some explicit love scenes, but I don't consider them pornographic. I believe this is a "mainstream" novel with some erotic passages. [mehr]
