You have an excellent voice in your piece. However, when you say, "Mr. Obama, if you and your family can, please, please tell me where." you never give context to what where means or the purpose for why you are asking it. Also this is a request so you need a "?" at the end.

In all seiner persönlichen Not und Angst braucht der Mensch ein beschützendes Vorbild.Das ist positiv, muss aber an einem Punkt stehenbleiben und nicht fanatisch genutzt werden. This book gives us the perspective of school going kids and big problem of economic down turn which has baffled even the greatest. The writer is very empathetic and shows us that kids my not understand economic problems and big plans nevertheless they are effected, feel and worry as much as we do.
Next time kid asks some question please do take the trouble/ opportunity to make them understand the whole situation.
