This was awesome, Mel! Really descriptive and well written. My only complaint is that I think there should have been a more noticeable "break" between the two parts- fourteen years is a long time. Other than that, though, excellent work.

I found myself turning the pages and, apart from a couple of small gramatical errors, thought i was reading something straight off the shelf in any book shop.
I loved the way you unveiled Reina as the story progressed, drip feeding more information so that the full picture was only apparant deep into the story. A very layered character indeed.
