Great story and writing. I love the suspense all. This is a short story but no necessary detail was left out and I like the resolution in the end. Loved Janet's bravery by the way, though it might have led her to trouble:)

Excellent writing, Mel. I love short stories, always did. They get things going quickly, and yet , when well written, they intrigue me. Your story did just that! But I know you and your stories, so if I may say, I was expecting a twist, and you didn't dissapoint me.
