The 2nd amendment will never go away. You need 2/3 of the House and Senate to
approve a proposed amendment, and 3/4 of the states (I.e 37 states) to ratify
the proposed amendment. I am not sure you could find more than three states to
do so. Repeal is dead. Work on repair and regulate.

The essay assumes that there is a rational basis for religious belief. There
is none, and most of what Christianity and religion assert has been
demonstrated to be false. So the discussion is irrelevant given the world we
live in.

The ability to remember an entire language from just memories of being a child
is amazing and leaves me amazed. I feel that the women herself thought that
from a cultural and social view that she could save her language seeing as the
rest of the people who come from her culture no longer speak their native
language fluently anymore. For that reason I believe that the women choose to
do the dictionary for this purpose. Even then something like saving an almost
extinct language isn't something that someone would choose to devote 7 years
of their life to. Sleeping late, and wanting to wake up early to continue on
with the completion of the dictionary is something that takes more than just a
will. Not only that, but the women Marie decided that she'd choose to also
record her voice to help people have correct pronunciation. This weeks film
club was really entertaining to watch, and very inspirational seeing someone
with such persistence and dedication.

Power to the people always makes me think, ""Which people?"". There are some
pretty bad people out there and I'd rather they didn't vote but I'm surer
there are folks who'd rather I didn't vote. As far as power to the parents
goes I ask, ""Which parents?"". There are some pretty bad parents out there.
And people without children are left out entirely. The system we are currently
under is far from perfect with at least one party trying to prevent voters
likely to vote for the opposition from voting but let's try and fix the system
we have rather than try your ridiculous idea.

In where i live we don't have such thing as halloween :( but we have something similar, it's one day/week usually in..hm..it doesn't have a specific date actually, and we dress as whatever we want and go to parties :)
