A very fast moving story. As the rain still pours down here in mid April in San Francisco from a big a storm, too late in the season, I grasp the feelings of death, love and madness.

This is a very well written story, much like a dark twist on Dr. Suess with a repeated phrase and little flashes of details. The pacing and emotional impact come through with the vivid memories of the character's long lost love. Whether you're straight or gay, you can relate to the powerful impact of this piece and the sudden resurgence of deeply buried feeling and memories.

I liked the idea, could have been just a touch redundant but interesting just the same. A little disappointed with the end but that's just me. Good job.
