Quite a dilemma for your main character, and something that's very true-to-life. You write this in the form of a play/movie/tv script, which makes it really interesting. You also address a genre that not many on this site have ventured into, and I'm not talking about the erotica thing. Your use of colloquial expressions are beautiful, and not too many people actually write in the ethnic genre to the extent you have. So, yes, please keep going.
