I've been where you are, Jazz. Got bullied a lot in elementary school and then in high school I was always an outsider- not bullied per se, but certainly ignored.

I ended up making friends outside of my school, which is how I got through being unpopular at school. Once I was out of high school, the issues disappeared. You'll be through it soon enough- hang in there!

You've got a good voice, though at times it you'll repeat a concept in attempting to round it out.
Also, the parenthetical on the last page is jarring and unnecessary. It took me from being an observer of the story to being an observer or someone writing a story.
This has a good direction and I'm intrigued for part two.

Jazz nobody is worth more than you so you have to be strong. i always lived by an old saying the living well is the best revenge. It is. Hold your head high, get your education and don't look back. Anyone who might shun you is not worth your time.

Jazz, I'm so sorry that ur going through that. I too have been through that, and I realized why in the end. Nobody truely wanted to get to know me or even understand me because they thought that they were better then me and that I knew nothing. I too had very few friends back then, but those few friends I thank everyday for caring about me..and in return they do the same. Bullying is wrong..and I think that more kids and teens need to understand that. I really wish that kids would open their eyes now a days and look at the bullying that's being done...and how much damage it is causing people. It's just sad that kids still do that now a days. Keep your head held high Jazz. There's a lot of people here on bookrix who support you, and me being one of them. :) And there a bunch of others who support you...ur not alone. :)
