Poor Kira, I wouldn't last a couple of days by myself in someplace like that.It makes you feel really emotional when she watches the films and it makes you feel sorry that she is so lonely in a such a weird world.Im looking forward to reading more, I can't wait to see how this carrys on. Keep writing :)

In constructing a story, especially in the Sci-fi/Fantasy genre, the first page says it all. Can the author capture me with both painterly language and an inciting incident that knocks my socks off? Can she HOOK me?

Thank you so much. You have NO idea the hours I slaved away trying to perfect that first piece. So often I find myself laying a book down after a mediocre intro, and the thought of that with my book terrified me. I am so glad to know that I have succeeded in the first test of true storytelling.
