You mean my other poems aren't easy to understand? LOL, just kidding. :) Sorry, couldn't resist. Anyway, glad you liked these. It was my first time to write some haikus.

Thanks for reading my short poems. I am glad you liked them. The concept of haiku was pretty easy to understand for me so I decided to try my hand at it.

The Japanes though write their Haikus about the seasons to be honest (saw a tv program where this guy went to Japan and attented a Haiku class with some Japanese ladies and was told that is what Haikus are all about. Also the last line has to refer back to the first line in some way, making a total roun dness of the poem. But not being in Japan, we have leeway in what we write about. I also had a tutor who let us try Haiku. By the way, have you heard of
Tanka? Same thing but with more syllables to each line though I cannot remember how many. I am sure you could fin d out online.

Simple & easy to understand.

I don't quite understand how this type of poetry works so I cant do it, but I do like the easy flow
and how you have brought sublime thoughts to life
