ha! Poor James, terrified that his wife had a tarantula as a pet and it ended up killing him. I do kind of wonder though, did she get hurt at all when she drove the car into the ditch? It would have to look like a real accident to be convincing, right? Great story though!

I really enjoyed this fine piece of flash fiction. A nice little twist at the end, as there should be, and I found her caring nature towards the spider (as opposed to her NOT SO caring nature towards her husband) rather endearing.
