I read this last night and throughly enjoyed it. I'm a big fan of old movies myself so this touch me where I live. And having Nana read the tea leaves, the descprition of it all was right on point. I love that kind of thing. Very well done.

Even though I put fiction on the book so much of it was true. I was told the story of the woman in black while at my Aunts with my two brothers. I knew I was going to see her, and I went to the cemetery every chance I got. When it was time to go home I wasn't sorry, I had an adventure that summer. Thanks for reading my work and commenting. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. What an awesome story! I was about the same age when I visited relatives in California one year, but instead of siblings, I had my mom with me, lol! I know what you mean about the air; I've always said that if someone knocked me out, put me on a plane, and I woke up in L.A., I'd know where I was by the way the air smells. What a great story. Your grandma Nana - sure can read the tea leaves. The lady in black whispers of the past but contemporary in its storytelling. I loved it because of the nostalgic twist and the rose you received at the end. Your descriptions are great; I was in your room, in your grandmothers house, at the cememetary .
