She is in a place of turmoil and I can't imagine how I would feel if my family was taken from me.I do find my self relying more on the physical man than the spiritual.This is where I can relate.I need to rely on God more and to learn worry only changes me, not the situation. Such strong imagery. I love everything about this. You have a unique voice in this, the halting, staggering sentences reflecting her inner turmoil. I hope never to be in that place she is in.

I won't give away the GREAT ending, but I must say, the voice who did "Queen Mystique" came back with this marvelous tale. Chilling with exceptional prose (again). So happy to have read this, Serena. My vote gladly.
