I read just some pages and I find it quite interesting and intriguing. I have only one suggestion: why don't you divide the book into 4 or 5 parts, that will be much easier for readers to read and grasp???

- i've read about a third of it so far.
- there is a nice mix of sex & death from the beginning. he is attracted to her but he fears for his life. soon, he begins to feel protective & the mood is romantic.
- the dialogue about 'science vs. tessellation is unusual' & quite funny.
- the idea of Escher as being crazy is intriguing & the dialogue about the senselessness of the order of things (as opposed to the illuminati or god)

Make it up to 10 and I DARE you to stop. The book is kinda a late bloomer but it pushes past its original tropes (I hope.) Thanks for reading.

ps, I read the first two chapters of yours. The feel of the setting reminds me somewhat of Terry Gilliam's Brazil, and the 'pussy guy trapped in a mistaken adventure' plot, though done before, is not an exhausted trope, and your pace and style keeps it afloat enough for me to say "ay". I would keep reading if I had the internet speed.

It's nice that you say "the usual shit". Remember that the churners of this shit are the ones you are looking for feedback from. And yet I'm not quite indignant, because I'm only here on a stopover. You commented on my book "you are very good", but with a blurb including "critically acclaimed", I thought you have more to say, or perhaps I am probing too far for compliments.
Please do, however, vote for my book, as this is why I am here on bookrix.
