This was very captivating, had me at the blurb!
I loved the detail and how nicely written it was, it flowed with power!
Just one minor problem I found, on page six it says, "...nor did he felt guilty..." I think it should be "...nor did he feel guilty." (:
And I wish I could have known why he destroyed the town, but that makes it even better, the suspense of blindness!

I was extremely captivated by this story. It was simply amazing how you described the assassin as a no one who was designed to just kill instead of just saying "this is so and so, he kills people"
I honestly don't know what else to say except that this is brilliant.
I love this. Especially the line "Every smoke seduced death into taking another step". You built up the story very well and finished it just as quick giving an account of the assasins last breath

Wow, really enjoyed this short story. Such vivid details and lot going on in such a short amount of time. I would have liked to know more details on how the assassin killed the spy though. But overall, a great, action-packed short story!
Beautifully written - among the best writing I've encountered here. The minor typos have been mentioned by others, so once those are handled, I do believe you'll have an absolute gem. Heck, even without the fixes, I'll vote for this! Fantastic job!
