I wrote these lyrics and some from my first poetry book, while taking a songwriting course with Motown great Will Hatcher, Singer, Writer and Producer. I learned how to structure my lyrics to be set to music and I received a writer's license with BMI. What I did here is rework each poem and made them a bit different from the originals.

Your kind comments are so touching. I could not use the title "Songs In the Key of Life" because that is the title for one of Stevie Wonders awesome albums.

As I read them, I smiled, and though I am thinking Chuck Barry right at the moment, I can hear notes in my head, setting these perfect little woks to music, albeit not in three-key harmony:)

Your earlier pieces are touching! The latest almost make me a bit sad..and that is good.
