I just wanted to thank you for your kind comments/favorite on "You Get What You Pay For". I'm glad you liked it. AND I fixed that little "Jeffry" glitch on pg. 26. It's amazing how many times you can read and check a story and still miss something.

I'm just starting to share my Vietnam experiences after forty two years. I have three major books planned with the first book almost completed. I am writing them for my children and grandchildren so they can get a better picture of who their father and grandfather really was. They've had many questions over the years, but I wasn't sure how to tell them.

Thank you so much for the comments on my Drabble contest booklet All The Young Men. Yes I did served in Vietnam as an infantry combat squad leader with the 1st Marine Division. No I have not returned to Vietnam. I've seen photos of modern Vietnam and it's noting like it was during the war. Emotionally I don't think I could handle going back. Thanks again and I hope you'll enjoy BookRix as much as I do.

Thank you so much for the friend request and the heart and comment on "Morning"! I've been thinking about creating more verses with the same homophones and had a few rough ones in mind, but when I was suddenly jarred awake early in the morning with that stanza in my head, I decided to let it be and perhaps create a longer one later. I'm sure it will come.
