Every 40 seconds, someone out there in the world commits suicide.
I just want to say that I'm really glad that you're still here and alive. I don't care who else told you differently, but you're meant to be here. You're meant to breathe and take up space. You're wonderful and special no matter what words other people spit out at you. You are meant to be here.
It's sad to know that under every minute that passes by through our day, someone takes their life away. I think, what has to be one of the saddest parts about someone committing suicide is a majority of people who take their lives away die believing that they're a nobody, a person who doesn't matter to anyone. And to me, that's definitely not true.
That's not true at all.
In the moment when you're about to drag that blade deeper into your veins, that moment where you're about to jump off the bridge, the moment where you're about to kick off the chair you're standing from, the moment when you're about to swallow those pills, you forget about the outcome. The moment you go through with your suicide, you don't know whose life you changed entirely. You don't realize how big of an impact your life could be to others, and that's something that deserves to be known before you commit suicide. You tell yourself that today is the day to go, and you are the one who isn't worthy of living anymore, but your story shouldn't end now. Your time isn't here yet. You're worth more than you realize, and I hope one day you'll be able to see it for yourself.
