It took a lot of wisdom and courage to share this with us. There are so many who will benefit by reading this.
Parents need to love their children unconditionally. Children need the love,comfort and guidance from their parents so that they can do the same for their children.
But, when this is not the scenario, children are left to reason on their own and sometimes it will turn out well but sometimes it doesn't.
This book was excellent!

Great work Nicole! That's a great story that I'm sure many people can relate to and learn from. I thought about Parker & Darren a lot when I was ready that. That's what makes stories great is being able to relate to them and the journey in life that we all must work our way through. There were so many more details to the real story but it was impossible to fit it all. I might post the whole story some time soon. Anyways, thanks again! :)

I love this book. I felt your story in my heart as I read each word. From start to finish, I was engaged in the book. The day you confronted your father was a tear jerker for me. You have a great writing style. I am not the one to comment on editing of a book because I have no clue. I am learning how to write. I would just go into your book and include chapters. Just because you grew up so fast, I would break up some of the years with chapters.
