Made me smile. I like Vanessa, but the jury is still out on Antonio. I'm hoping he turns out to be what's being hinted at. Just make sure to include a good conflict soon to keep the reader wanting to turn the page.

Very real, good dialogue. Just change the Age requirement (10 years old for this kind of story is not only inappropriate, it violates the BookRix Code of Conduct) to 16 and up.

Be sure to put paragraphs between each person's words to avoid confusion about who is speaking. Other than that, though, this is good and should be continued. It's a snapshot of a life that seems to be going somewhere a lot of people can relate to - great job!
