This reminded me of my daughter's attachment to her teddy bear.

My son, the illustrator, while he didn't keep his 'stuffed' animals quite so long did have a hard time letting his class go. He would read to them after putting them in a half circle....p

This story is so cute. I have two plush animals, one a Rhino and a turtle which I've had for nine years. They are now my children's treasure, each one sleeps with one and cares for them. Thanks for sharing this sweet true story.

On any errors factor, I saw that your missing a few commas. For example, in dialogue you need to place a comma before and after a name or endearment in a sentence. "Hey, blah blah..." "Stop it, ana, before I tell dad." Keep a look out to use commas where they go and to eliminate overuses when necessary. Best Wishes.

I also have a daughter who is seventeen . She also had a Simba,I should say has,that she took everywhere with her. He was her best friend. We even drove 4 hours after leaving a by accident in a motel bed. We were 4 hours from our starting point and a little under 3 hours from home. My daughter could not imagine Simba being left by himself and worse still being shoved into a box to be mailed to us. So we turned around and got him for her. Simba is now bald in spots,not as fluffy and definately not the same vibrant color he once was. I admit he even smells funny but he is still lovesd and when my daughter leaves home overnight he still gets slipped into her pack ,
