Thank you for your sweet words. I agree that it's not a far cry from how children love their toys to how they love their family and friends.

Thank you for stopping by and reading my book. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
What a delightful story about your daughter Brittany. I really liked this. It captures the imaginative ways of children and their puerile dreams. Well done!
This is a charming sweet story about childhood. Remember Radar on Mash and his favorite Teddy Bear. I like stuffed toys too.
I wonder sometimes if the inanimate things that we love and care for as if they were real actually come to life in some ways. I think that it's a good thing for a child to practice loving and caring for someone or something. I would venture to guess that if they can treat a toy with such love and respect then it wouldn't be a far cry for them to love their family and friends just as much!!
God bless and thank you for sharing,
Tyrone

Boy, does this ever bring back memories. I remember raising my own daughter and some of her stuffed animals, and yes, the pillow case so he wouldn't drown. I had to laugh at the part where they are scolding in your voice. I have a parrot that also does this. Very humbling. Children grow up, but the parrot still reminds me, every single day. :-) Great story. I enjoyed it as I'm sure many more will. Best of luck to you.
Thank you for the lovely comments. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
This brought memories... oh... my goodness! Most of us (no matter how old) have an old toy we've treasured. And they become real; we hold on it tightly and carry it around for ever, it seems. Lovely story. I am very glad I read it.
