dear Sakshi, I wrote a poem about the diminished hurricane Maria
Hurricane Maria Elopes to Orkney
A kiss,
And the dying sighs of hurricane Maria
breathe slanting rain,
wetting the green fields,
washing the black roads to silver.
Over the sea, Maria arcs her Caribbean rainbow,
touching down on Auskerry.
The land drains;
through a web of a thousand tiny rivulets
they meet in the Woodwick Burn,
then roar in a cocoa brown carnival to the sea.

Notes: hurricane Maria was one of several hurricanes that barrelled through the Caribbean in September 2017. Once spent on the American coasts these hurricanes cross the Atlantic, now less powerful, but still active.
Thank you! Wish you the same. :)
Welcome.
