I believe that "S" stands for sunset which Thich showed to Will. Will was able to realize that the little things in life matter like the sunset. The sunset was only one of the many things that Will missed out on because of work. The sunset reminded Will of the importance of the little things like the family photos and the anniversaries.

I think “S” stands for serenity. Will found his inner peace at “S” and was able to calm his mind. Normally Will would be focused on work and not his family or his surroundings. He then embraced the serenity in “S” and he is now planning on incorporating calmness into his mind.

I think that S stands for solution. In the I and F rooms, Will was lost and confused, and the memories only made him worse. He wanted answers to his questions, and this was when the s room did its trick to Will. Through Thich’s meditation and his ability to know about the struggles on Will’s mind, he helped Will evolve into the person that he truly is, not the greedy imposter who took over him. This was the solution to Will’s... mehr anzeigen

I think that "S" stands for sunset. The sunset in the story played a big part in representing how Will changed his thoughts on the world. While admiring the beautiful, peaceful sunset, Will finally understood how to enjoy the moment. Although Slim, Tiny, his memories and Thich all slowly helped him to see what he had done wrong in the past and how he should change, it was the serenity of the sunset that opened his eyes. As... mehr anzeigen

I believe "S" stands for simplicity. His mind his always away at work, rarely with his family. In this section, he realizes the beauty of the simple things in life, such as a sunset. "It never really occurred to him that there is a sunset everyday. Often working till 8 or 9 in the evening, he presumed he had spent many sunsets eating dinner at his desk" He had a realization on whats actually important in life after being on the "S" floor.

I feel that "S" stands for symbolism, as there were many examples of symbolism that helped Will realize the truth. First, there was the lotus flower that symbolized purity. Then, there was the turtle that symbolized how the fastest aren't always the most successful. Lastly, there was the sunset that symbolized living in the moment even though Will could have done this any other day. These all support how "S" stands for symbolism.

“S” stands for “sensible” or “sage”. Throughout Will’s exploration in the “S” floor, the Buddhist guides Will in becoming in the moment and becoming more mindful and aware. There were various points in the chapter where Will mentions “newly acquired wisedom”, and leaving the KPO a “new man”.

"S" stands for simplicity because Will learned that simplicity was the key to ridding his old ways. Thich taught Will how to let go of his greediness and accept that simple things, like his family, would complete his life. Will was able to recognize his past mistakes and allowed him to move forward in the right direction.

I think that "S" stands for silence or serenity. Will needed one more thing in the KPO building to realize what he had to do next in his real life. The peace and quiet of the floor and the sunset that he had never seen before melted away any feeling of hardness or denial that was in his heart previously. He finally accepted the reality of his wrongdoings and it made him prepared for the long, hard journey of putting his old life back together.

I think Floor "S" stands for space. In this section of the novella, Will has his own space to just think everything he has experienced at KPO and how he became fully aware of the neglect towards his family. At the end while he was watching the sunset is when it sank in and he could just be calm and in his own space.
