I believe that the S in KPO stood for satisfied. Before he reached floor S Will was never satisfied with what he had. He always wanted more money and his family fell to the wayside after he chased his superficial dreams. After he left floor S he had a feeling of satisfaction for what he had in life and he understood what truly mattered. Small things like tea and a sunset began to have so much more power in his life. You could tell his priorities changed by what was left in the elevator. He left KPO with satisfied where he was and with what he had. He discovered life wasn't all about money. I enjoyed KPO quite a bit because it was a quick read with a deep mission. It made me look at my life and see how i could improve it. I never take enough time to just appreciate my life.

In my opinion the floor vaguely named "S" stands for serenity, not only with the world, but mostly himself. On this floor he realizes all the mistakes he has made and how to fix them, thus taking him to a peaceful, serene state. The whole floor is set up in a very zen way, making the level calming and peaceful. He comes to conclusions that fixed all his former problems and bring him to a calm state of mind with his thoughts. I thought that that the book was very interesting and eye opening but not anything I would want to read again or suggest to a friend. The conceit was slightly entertaining but as a whole I didn't enjoy it much. I tend to dislike very fictional, confusing books anyways. The book though gave me insight to the decisions I am making and helped to come to my own conclusions. If I had to rate the book as a whole our if ten, one being awful and ten being great, I would give it a 6 saying as most of the book was left for question and most of the time I was not following.

I think that the meaning of "S" is significance because during the capter as he talks with Thich he relizes how much everything in life means. Even something as little as a sunset can change your views on life. For Will after he leaves floor "S" he really understands that he needs to start taking things for what they are and finding the importance and significance of them. After his whole trip journey at KPO it is funny to see how much he changes.' As he walked in material items and money are his only real focus. By the time he walks out he relizes how much he loves his best up Chevy Malibu and even gives back the $60.00 he got from his experience. This shows how KPO truly changed Will.

Personally I believe that the letter "S" used for the third level that Will visited could stand for many things. The one answer that stood out most in my mind was Sensibility. I thought this because sensibility is your emotional capacity, and in the last stage of the
KPO Will is challenged mentally and emotionally to come to the realization that he needs to put his family before material objects. I thought that the KPO novella was a thought out and inspirational story. It captured your attention in the begining and held it until the very end. I also enjoyed the story because of the positive message that was relayed throughout the storyline

I think the "S" stands for the word serene and serenity. The whole concept of the floor was to be calm and peaceful. The floor was created to find your true self and to do that the sensei. Will had to realize that he needed to change his life around and it started with coming to peace with himself. Now that Will has seen sunsets, met sanseis, and started his life over he is ready to take on a new self. I liked the book a lot. It sort of made me re think my life and whether or not I am living for family or for riches. The book was really well put together and had a good plot. The end meaning of the story was eye opening. There are many different ways of looking at this story and it's great to see all the different interpretations.

I believe that "S" represents Will finally coming to a realization that he needs to come forward and admit the mistake he has made. Will has to not only come to terms with these mistakes, but learn from them. Floor "S" is trying to teach Will that it is never to late to Start Over. "S" may also symbolize William becoming "satisfied" with his realization. He now has learned that he has to always live in the present moment. Will also learns that time is precious, and it passes by quickly. On Floor "S" a man named Thich helps William realize what he was doing wrong all that time. Throughout, Will's discoveries of his "wrongs" in his life. He learns that he wants to turn these "wrongs" into "rights." Near the end of this novella it states, "He wouldn't look back. His time was now." In the end, Will admits his mistakes, and decides to move forward. It was time to not only start over, but to become satisfied with what Will was about to do next.

In my personal opinion I believe that "S" stand for Signs, Solution, and Solidarity. Throughout the Novella, Will Turnwell learns more about himself than ever before, and is tested by the choices he has made in life. Although he learns and and grows in "I" (irony) and "F" (flashback), once reaching "S", Will finally realizes all the great things that life has to offer, and most importantly that life isn't about work and money.

I learned a lot that will help me in the future just by reading KPO. This novella has taught me that life has more to offer than the future or the past. In reality it's about the present, and what's happening now. The present, now, is truly a gift, that each person should embrace. I know all those crazy shirts say *YOLO*, but I do believe the shirts and their neon letters. You only have one shot, you have to make the very best out of every opportunity.

In my opinion I believe that "S" stands for and is symbolizing Will starting over. As Will approached this floor, where i think is the turning point for his experience, he was stubborn and ungrateful. Yet as he began listening to Thich and understanding him he left with the feel of being born into a new world and starting over. Thich mentioned that Will could regain happiness in his world with his family just by looking at things differently. He can then leave with a clear mind and focus on what is really important in his life. That's why I think that "S" stands for starting over.

I think that "S" stands for satisfaction, as in satisfaction with oneself. When Will first entered the floor, he was greeted by a man named "Thich," who Will thinks of as a sage man, and acknowledges the wisdom that this man has. Throughout the time Will spends with Thich, he gains more of an understanding about himself and life in general, and what it means to live in the present. Will leaves KPO with a new outlook on things and even though he thinks his future is looking up, he still is living right where he is at that moment. He is finally satisfied and isn't looking for ways to get more and appreciates what he has at that given time. Though the story has a repetitive message, there is a thought provoking way of presenting it through dialogue, memories, and wisdom.

well, if im going to be honest my first thought was "S" stands for sunsets. But looking at other responses I feel silly. I agree with the other answers but since i wouldnt have thought of "success" or "serenity" Ill stick with my answer and explain. Similar to down below, Will came out of the building realizing his mistakes and wanting to rebound from them. From the story, i comprehended that you should make every second count. I related that to sunsets. They are such a beautiful scenery which artists over the years have captured. Furthermore, I find peace within them. Whenever Im viewing a sunset, i become calm just as Will found himself on the "S" floor with Thich. This novella has given me wisdom just like Will along with confidence and not prioritizing over the future so much. Live in the Moment!
