I think the " S" stands for See. I believe this because Will was unable to see the true values in life when he came to KPO and once he left floor "S", he saw his mistakes and became a changed man. He also began to observe beautiful things he previously missed such as the sunset and the lotus flowers. Together, though, all the floors, "I" "F" "S" spell out "ifs" and it means that you can't focus on the ifs in life, you have to... mehr anzeigen

I think that "S" stands for symbolism. When Will was on the "S" floor, there were many symbols. One was the lotus flower in the floor. It represented that even though someone might be bad and grow in "murky water," that person can always go out of it and blossom to become a good person. Another example was the turtle on the tea pot. The round top of the shell was like heaven and the bottom flat part of the shell was like... mehr anzeigen

I believe that "S" stands for "start again".In this final chapter, or final floor of the elevator I feel as if Thitch was basically cleansing Will from all his mistakes and adressing the solutions to the problem. He is taught about the importance of little things in life and to cherish the moments that he spends with his family. Here, he is able to rethink his mistakes and learn how to correct them so his future is a lot... mehr anzeigen

I believe that the "S" stands for subliminal or serenity. On the final floor of the KPO office building, Will finally comes to terms with the wrongs in his life just by listening to Thitch, and discovering how to value the beauty in even the simplest of things. All this time, he learns these lessons without even fully comprehending that simply talking to the monk opens up his eyes to the truth. The calming, hot tea, placid... mehr anzeigen

In my opinon, "S" stands for saved. In the book, Will comes in to KPO greedy, oblivious and hopeless. He has trouble accepting how awful he has been, but when he arrives at "F", it is totally different. With Thitch, the attributes go away one by one. He realizes and accepts his errors, and by the time he leaves KPO, he has been saved.

I believe that floor "S" in the book KOP stands for Serenity. When Will entered the "S" he is embraced with a warm feeling. During his time in "S", Will finds peace within himself and finds contentment. Will leaves floor "S" leaving his worries behind and he feels serene. I think this was a very interesting concept and I think it would be a very fascinating place to go to come to terms with your past sins.

I think that the "S" in KPO could stand either for serenity or symbolism. In the novella, both of the first two floors cause Will to feel guilt and regret. "S" on the other hand helps him become serene and find his inner peace. "S" could also stand for symbolism because based off my opinions, I is Irony, and F is Flashback, both literary devices, so S would also be. Also Thich shows Will many symbols like the lotus flower and... mehr anzeigen

I think that the "S" in the KPO story meant Start Over. Once he got to the "S" floor and met Thich, he felt calm and free. He walked out of the building in hopes of starting over. Maybe not with wealth or business. But with a family that consisted of a wife and kids. I believe that this book brought great insights on the faults of 1 man's choices and how he seems to accept that by the end and hope to start a new. Not only did... mehr anzeigen

I think that the "S" in KPO stands for Serenity. When Will finally reached this floor which turned out to be the end of his journey, Will finally received the guidance needed to reach peace/ serenity. I liked this book due to its guidance to the first steps of making amends to those you have wronged.

I believe that the "S" in KPO stands for "Sins" (referring to the seven deadly sins) because in "S" Will was told he was being too greedy. He would spend hours at work, always trying to make more money, instead of spending time with his family. "S" was for Will to see the sin of greedy he was committing and to reinvent himself.
