I think "S" stands for success. The whole reason that Will Turnwell was invited to KPO was to help explain to him how to turn his life around. He went from the top to nothing because he neglected his family and focused 100% on work. Will was self-centered and believed that the only thing he needed in life was money. His greed led him down the wrong path and he dropped from being extremely rich to living on the little bit of money that he could scrape together.
After going through "I" and learning how Will had ruined his life, going through "F" and reliving some of the times he neglected his family, he stopped at "S" where he learned from Thich how to be a better person. After learning this important life skill, Will knew what he had to do to turn his life around. He learned that he would have to work to get to a better life, but not as much this time.

I think S stands for Simple. William learns to finally accept that the true beauty in life is in simple things, like sunsets and long conversations. He learns on this floor that focusing on the simple things in the present will make him happy, and he is content with his life in the moment. "Childhood means simplicity. Thich tells Will that he has a chance to start over, and that he is a child again. Children are often fascinated by the simple things in life, and those simple things can bring them joy. By being a child, Will can focus on the simple things he loves and bring his life back together.

I believe that "S" stands for self improvement. Will finally figured out his flaws and learned what he must do to better himself. He also thought of ways to make himself be less selfish. I believe that this story is to make people look at how they effect other people and how they can become a better person. I believe that this novella is attention-grabbing because you wonder if you have ever done something as awful as this to another person or if anything like it has ever happened to us.

I think the letter S stands for serenity because the floor was very calm and by going through this floor, William forgot about his past, realized what was important and decided to start over.
KPO is a very enticing novella that makes the reader realize what is truly important to them, just as William did. It is a book unlike others I have read, and that is what made it so interesting to me.

I enjoy the novella "KPO" because of the message it relates to the reader. The reader is able to see and understand the importance of family. As Will travels to the different regions of KPO, he learns to prioritize and he realizes his mistakes and learns how to prevent them. It is a lesson that many people need to learn, and this book will relay the message perfectly.
When reading, I deducted that "S" must mean serenity, due to the absolute tranquility and calm Will experiences. The author informs the reader of Will's feelings while meditating at "S." "Without instruction, he tried this series again, this time smiling about another facet with this moment he decided was indeed wonderful." Will is so calm and so serene that he is able to clear himself of his bad influences and decide to turn himself around.

I think the latter "S" stands for world "Seek". Because in the floor of S, Will seeks and find about a true meaning of life, and what happiness really is.
In my personal opinion, the quote "The best things in life aren't things". And it also connects to the S floor, where Will finds and learns to appreciate things that are there, not just what he worked for such as $$. What makes a good life is not material meanings, but happiness coming from appreciation

In my opinion, the "S" department stands for spring. In this department, Will is able to evolve and come to know of how he has been destroying his life because of his strong desire for riches and wealth that he thought would make him happy. With the help of Thich, a poet and an author, Will realizes that only contentment through simple things, such as family, is the only way to breed happiness within him. More than any other department, it is this department that helps Will to fully understand what was wrong and how to spring up a new life full of meaningless and satisfaction. This was a pretty good book, for it had a good meaning and I am sure that a lot of people in this world could use this wonderful message. Though a little dull at some points, it was an enjoyable book overall.

While reading the novella KPO, I began to think that "s" stood for sunrise, sunset, or just sun. This is because of the back wall that is made up of nothing but windows. When Will looks through these windows, he sees the sunset and finally starts to lose his sight of the future and how much money he is going to earn, and starts to live in the moment, he is only concerned about now. one of the best quotes in the novella was by a plump man named Mr. Slim. He says to Will that "the best things in life aren't things" This shows Will that a new watch or car aren't the things that he needs to strive for. He needs a happy family, and to be a husband who doesn't miss his anniversary and a father who leaves for work right before a family photo was to be taken. The best things in life are the people around you, and Will finally comes to his senses and forgets about his greed on "s". After three floors of help, Will begins to see his wrongs and how to fix them, to get his life back on track, and to use the "golden opportunity" that Thich speaks of.

After reading the novella KPO I think that it makes the reader take a step back in their life and think about their family, their current relationships and everything else that you surround yourself with. I enjoyed reading this novella because I think it made you realize that money isn't everything and that family should come first.
I think that "S" means simplicity or serenity because on this floor, Will is able to find what he really needs in his life and the mistakes that he made through simple breathing and talking.
