I have become a huge fan of your this book and have been eagerly waiting for the ending.. and I finished it in two days and I cant just say how much this book has left impact on me .. going crazy over what's gonna be the next and I cant keep my mind off the story.. you are an awesome of the awesome writer I just love this book soo much... i just thought what might happen next and this i am telling to you .. just for :)
ENDING possibility: DANAE might come handy since she is dragged along
-mona nearly drops the gem but is startled by Xavier calling after her.. crown falls in the ground instead due to her shaking body and Yi makes sudden movement to catch crown(danae finally confessed group earlier about her superhearing ability(different magical creature) and they know abt the crown)
-Xavier and ray have a fight but mona gets hurt instead and the prophecy is prolonged...
-mona possessing her quality finally understands her power and LEARNS A NEW SECRET.... ie:the prophecy retold by RAY is wrong.. she finds out that ray in the fear of his own death couldnot realize his bonding with the pack (he is a member and according to the prophecy every member SURVIVES!) then she discovers the other truth about the letter sent by god has a part missing(a important piece of information falls out when ray ripped it open!.....which actually says sacrifice can be made for a different consequence
-during the stay.. mona tells the pack that RAY is not a villain but a tortured soul laden with certain responsibilities for his realm and others accept it with difficulty
-RAY has a good soul within but possessed by devilness (due to fear of being terminated) and mona learns that from crystal ball and uses her goodness to extract him from the tortureeven if he doesnot realize it
-filled with depression RAY throws the silver ring since its of no use and he is sure he is to die
-danae finds the ring and its unusual ability leads this magical creature to the castle library due to mistake where after a long research she finds a solution she shares with nobody but hides and express herself as nothing unusual
-mona is so sure RAY wont die and fids out that THE ONLY THING THAT IS SIMILAR IN ALL WORLD AND ALL CREATURES ARE EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS(no one can escape it)
-she takes action to throw the crown in the chasm but is disturbed by danae who snatches the crown from mona's hand and tells how she loves everyone ,had great adventure , says goodbye and takes the silver ring and crown with her and allows herself to fall in the chasm before others can react ...... at the same tym RAY falls down and gets injured ... this tym XAVIRE SAVES RAY FOR REAL CHANGING HIM TO WEREWOLF.......
-they discover from letter from council that their power has changed all of sudden and prophecy has been fulfilled .. thanks to MONA but confused that they are still alive against the prophecy
-later find letter from danae that THIS WAS THE DIFFERENT CONSEQUENCE .. SACRIFICE OF A TRUE PEACEFUL AND EMOTIONAL MAGICAL CREATURE WOULD END THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN WEREWOLVES AND SHIFTERS BUT THE dire consequence is that werewolves have limited time (about 10 century to finally live with their ability) then they wouldnot live forever but just as other humans after that......... then happy ending xavier with mona
i also thought if SIDNEY would enter as RAY'S mate later hehe .........

You did an awesome job. A Howl In The Night sucked me in. The many many adjectives worked well giding my inner view throu the story. I was suprised, thought in general it would be called a writers crime to do so.

I had the impression, your were taken away by the story sometimes, creating some missleading branches. The story plot could be worked on.

Speaking of the substance more than the pure content, dissocial concepts and beliefs are placed in the main charakter. It ain't easy to put such qualitys into light. Her fight to overcome those handicaps took me in.

If you need to call Griffins brother bepolar or if it would work out nicer not doing so? I'm not so much used to common american speach to dicide wether bipolar is meant to be a diagnosis or just something like being quick-tempered, as I am German and my last flirt with a GI is way down the road.
